DeAnne,
Meeting your Father was great.
He was a real pistol, sharp as a tack.
I know he loved hanging out at the house with you and the kids.
Who wouldn't ?
You have a wonderful family, I love hanging…

22 km
D, Pat, Noah, KC, Rich and Eva...22km. Newport Pier and back. 3 x 10', 3 x 8', 3 x 6' and 3 x 4'. Rest 2 between. Flat and warm and a good long one.

4 x 1000m
KC, Ryan, Eva, Cathy and me...4 x 1000m on the course. Hard, resting about 3'.

Double
Pat and I went double today. Grinded out 10km for time. 45:20..flat as a milk pond, but a slight breeze and gorgeous day on the sea.

15 km
D, Eva, Pat and KC 2 x7', 4 x 40", 2 x 5', 4 x 30", 2 x 3', 4 x 20". 2' between sets and 1' between pieces...nice mellow day.

new year and some nice hard workouts
Saturday we paddled a time trial...Willie lap we call it. 8.5 km. So much harder than hard pieces. About 45 minutes of max effort. Then today, Monday, another hard 2 x 2000m. It seems to be getting warmer out and with the kids back to school, much easier to get out and go. The group we have in the am is growing to at least 4 people, somethimes 9 or more. Looking to keep is going up to Molokai in May. Any one who wants to come is welcome. 9am m/w/f and then on the weekend we try to do a long one and downwind if the wind is blowing.
