One more goodbye to my Dad off Newport Coast
Yesterday, March 28 we laid to rest my fathers ashes off the coast of Newport Beach as he wished. It was the most gorgeous day we have had since his passing. The ocean was calm, the air warm and fresh. I post here a photo of my precious family, my brother and his family and my old uncle Bob and cousin Bill. Then in the true spirit of living, coming back in, we saw my friends Christina and Eva grinding away a work out. I have also put their photo here. It reminds you that life goes on.
Hectic Days
Malibu to Marina Race. Flat and boring again. Pat ened up 9th I think and overall had a bad day. But again, nice to see such a big turnout. Lets hope next year there is some wind. Congrats to Philippe Bocarra for his win...on a Mako 6. Next day, Sunday it howled and Pat, Noah, Rich and Barry headed up to Cabrillo for an awesome downwind run. 25 knots steady and a wonderful paddle. Great Molokai training.
Nice group
Rich, KC, Eva, Ryan, Pat, Barry, Cliff and Rami (OC 1 , still recovering from shoulder surgery)...
2 x 7', 4 x 40", 6 x 2:30 and 4 x 4' in the ocean with varying tempos. Good one!
Dana Point Race
Super day down at Dana. Nice to see so many paddlers. Pat had to work and I had soccer, but managed to show a few skis and check out the race.

Pat, Eva, KC 200m sprints 100%
3 x 2000m
