Another fun weekend and s super race. so much less stress and work than San Fran. No unloading and reloading of 30 skis. This race was a kick. I was so happy it was changed to 18 miles instead of 25...but half in the headwind was tough. Next event is the Phatwater 40 miles in Oct. Pat and I will race doulbe to go for the record.

As soon as we unload and reload the trailer for Chicago I will have a write up here about the USA Champs. Best course ever, best conditions, superb organization. Great results for Team Fenn. 12 out of the top 15...Pat was happy with 15th and I was totally stoked to be first US women...4th after an Aussie sweep 1..2...3...

Ok, skis are loaded and heading north tomorrow, so today was the last on water session.
Barry, Eva, me and Noah did 2 sets of 5 x 2' on 1 minute in between at 60%..good hard pieces.

Pat and I and Eva and Noah in double ski and Rich and Barry in singles.
3, 2, 1 minutes x 4 sets.... pretty hard.

Yesterday before Barry arrived, we had a nice paddle with Eva and Jim Hoffman from New York. He paddled the Red 7 and did great in the ocean. 10 x 5' pieces.
Today with Barry we had a big group..Rami, Cliff, Noah, Chirstina, Pat, me and Rich. 3 x 10' at 70% (right) and 3 x 3' at 80%.
Lots of chatting.

I missed a few workout updates. Too much work and summer in full swing with kids around.
Today with Paul and Eva we did a few timetrial pieces. Lido lap (4km) and 1000m and a 500m. All nice and hard.

solo today..with rope resistance.

Me, Pat, Noah, Christina, Rich, KC and Phillepe..18 km....4 x 10' into the head wind..then one piece back..nice solid 10-15 km wind with some swell.
Finally a downwind..but we had to earn it going into it for 1 hour.
