28 km roughest conditions I have ever been in..single or double....
not the biggest swell ever, but roughest rebounding chop off Rabbitt Island and Makapu Point....after which surfing(25km winds) the good stuff was tough after getting hammered in the 1st hour.
The Hawaiians are awesome in these conditions. I sucked in them, But I am happy to have finished..and not last.

1. Considering how rough the conditions were that day with two of the top OC-1 guys losing their canoes, I think anyone who completed that long course did awesome and for non-locals not having the privilege of training in these waters, its just even more credit to your skill and athleticism.
