Next shipment to contain the Atom and the Green Red 7

Our next order from South Africa will have some great new skis. First the Atom ski from Carbonology. This lower volume (built for under 170 pound paddler) is in demand with more women taking up ski paddling. See related article on http://www.surfski.info

The Green Red 7 made with cork material is also very interesting and we have to have some. Related article on surfski info as well.

Sprout wins again

Rich Sprout contiues his dominance of the California surfski scene with a win this time in the Southern Califronia winter racing series race held in Redondo Beach. This time with some decent condtitions, Sprout put over a minute on the field while surfing the rebound off the harbor wall and then taking the race home with superior skills in the downwind section.

Congrats to Rich Sprout

Rich was the overall men's surfski winner at the two day Wavechaser winter series race in San Francisco. Wavechaser runs the premier winter racing series in Northern Californa. Sprout who lives and trains in Newport Beach, is a relative novice in the surfski, having started paddling a little over a year ago. Does his skill have anything to do with the fact he is South African? OPS News item image

We’ve been having some great weather…for paddling in the rough!

http://www.cbs2.com/video/?id=125373@kcbs.dayport.com Pat catching the small waves inside Newport Harbor. He didn't get a fine, and the winds didn't blow 106mph, but yes, a 6 man canoe and an OC-1 did wipe out, desinigrate and sink.

The act of surfing is not alowed in the harbor. You can paddle a board around as much as you want, STANDING on it while on a wave is against the law.

Hi Bob:
I don't think you can get a fine on a ski. Its meant for surfers on surfboards, I think.

According to the OC Register today, the Harbor Patrol sent out two Fire rescue boats to a capsized OC-6 just outside the harbor entrance. They started to pull the boat in, but their tow rope broke, so they had the 6 guys from…

Shipment almost here
