Hemmens and Hemmens win Northern California Wavechaser Championships on Mako XTs
 Patrick won his second consecutive Northern California Championships on Saturday, May 1. DeAnne, racing alone in the Women's division, ended up 4th overall in the event. The conditions were cold and breezy, with a big incoming tide and about a 3' swell. The messy water made for good surfing on the Mako XT in the ocean off Point Bonita.
