Rich Sprout contiues his dominance of the California surfski scene with a win this time in the Southern Califronia winter racing series race held in Redondo Beach. This time with some decent condtitions, Sprout put over a minute on the field while surfing the rebound off the harbor wall and then taking the race home with superior skills in the downwind section.

Rich was the overall men's surfski winner at the two day Wavechaser winter series race in San Francisco. Wavechaser runs the premier winter racing series in Northern Californa. Sprout who lives and trains in Newport Beach, is a relative novice in the surfski, having started paddling a little over a year ago. Does his skill have anything to do with the fact he is South African?
