How to assemble a 1 piece paddle

Step 1. Determine your paddle length and cut paddle shaft using a hack saw or pipe cutter.Step2. Sand blade and shaft end (both ends) using 100grit sandpaper (sand enough so that shaft turns a gray color and blade is scuffed up.) Step 3. Using 5 minute epoxy, glue the right hand shaft into the blade. (apply to shaft and blade.) let dry. Step 4. Determine angle of blade by rotating the left blade on shaft, then mark with a line. Step 5. Use 5 minute epoxy again to glue left blade on. Line up with your mark. Let dry. |
