March 30th, 2009|Uncategorized|

Yesterday, March 28 we laid to rest my fathers ashes off the coast of Newport Beach as he wished. It was the most gorgeous day we have had since his passing. The ocean was calm, the air warm and fresh. I post here a photo of my precious family, my [...]

Hawaii Kai run

February 20th, 2009|Uncategorized|

Pat got a chance to do a nice Hawaii Kai run. Winds were up, but the tide was going out...kinda sloppy, but warm and the worst day in Hawaii is better than the best day at home.

Patrick wins Wavechaser Race Day 1 on the Synergy

February 15th, 2009|Events, USA|

San Fransicso was cold, rainy and breezy so a great day to test the new Synergy. Overall impressions from Patrick were that it was so stable in the messy water, and obviously fast enough to win the race. Second place went to Chris Stout on his new Mako Elite..followed by [...]

What a tremendous paddle today

February 10th, 2009|Uncategorized|

In a fitting tribute to dad, we took out the new Elite double on the coldest, rainest, wildest ocean day ever here. Out through the surf and Newport Pier..not big, but storm surf. Then paddled about 2 miles out to where dad could have seen us from his deck with [...]
